As a part of of Assemblies Of God, we are devoted to basing all of our work on these core doctrines:
- Salvation by Faith through Grace,
- Baptism of the Holy Spirit,
- Divine Healing,
- Biblical Marriage,
- Second Coming of Christ.
These core beliefs are what we base our programs, sermons, and music on.
We accept and acknowledge that the Bible is the holy and directly-inspired Word of God, from which we draw guidance from for our lives everyday. God's word never changes, although our world does. It is vital that we keep these core values in our minds and in our hearts so we can continue to lead and live out the lives and plans God has in store for us and His Church
MEET OUR PASTOR
Pastor Donald Cougle, born in New Brunswick Canada has lived in the Lewiston - Auburn area for over sixty years. His wife Cheryl born and raised in northern Maine Pastor and Cheryl started their life and careers here in Maine along with their two children. Pastor Don and his wife both graduated from Faith Bible College International in Charleston, Maine and that is where they met. From the age of eight teen Pastor knew what God was calling him to do and he acted upon that calling. Donald and Cheryl have been at First Assembly Of God for just under five decades and have been goin’ strong ever since!

At First Assembly, we believe that through faith in Jesus Christ and in doing His work, we may find redemption and reconciliation as His people. We pursue God through worship, service, and biblical guidance + education.
